Residence Hall Councils

Residence Hall Councils

Ball State has six residence hall complexes. Together these complexes combine to form 32 individual halls. By virtue of being a resident of the hall, you have the opportunity to join the hall council. The hall council is the governing body of each hall. It is their responsibility to deal with issues affecting the halls' residents. The hall council also participates in social and educational programs within the hall. Contact hall desk for more information.

Residence Hall Association (RHA)

RHA is an organization comprised of representatives from all 33 residence halls and is designed to be the resident student voice to the Housing and Residential Life office and to the Ball State Administration. During the spring of 2005, RHA was awarded the "School Of The Year" award through the Indiana Residence Hall Organization (IRHO) for student involvement. RHA sponsors events such as Rock the Halls, the Fire and Ice Dance, Cardinal Games, Diversity Week, and Welcome Week and Finals Week Support Baskets. All residents are eligible to join RHA by attending hall council meetings. Visit our website at www.bsu.edu/rha to find out more about RHA!
