John Gaylor joined the foundation board in 2007
John C. Gaylor earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Ball State in 1976. In 1984, he founded VJG, Inc. In 1997, he set up Gaylor Industrial LLC to address industrial and high tech construction needs of its clients. In 2001, Gaylor Group, Inc. was created by consolidating VJG, Inc. and Gaylor Industrial. He also established Gaylor University, the education and training arm of Gaylor Group, which is accredited by Purdue and Vincennes universities and several educational and professional associations.
Gaylor is the past chairman of Ball State’s Entrepreneurship Advisory Board and a member of Fellows and Quadrangle societies. He lives in Carmel, Indiana, with his wife Valerie.
