- Honors Distinguished Professorship—This chair would recruit an outstanding faculty member to Ball State whose duties would be shared with a home department and the Honors College. The appointment will stabilize resources for the Honors College while also enhancing the senior faculty in a department at Ball State.
- Honors Faculty Fellow—A faculty member from another institution would be invited on a short-term basis, ranging from a few weeks to a semester, to teach and interact with honors students for a unique seminar or learning opportunity in an area not routinely available at Ball State.
- Honors Lectureship—This gift would provide substantial support to fund one-time visits by nationally and internationally significant speakers for the campus and for honors students.
