Chip Jaggers is the Senior executive development officer of University Development, responsible for the total development program and all aspects of fund-raising. Chip carried significant leadership roles at Ball State for the Above and Beyond Campaign, the Bold Campaign, and the Drive to Distinction Stadium Campaign, where the campaigns were completed ahead of schedule and over goal. Prior to working in development, Chip was the Director of University Communications, from 1996-1999, where he held leadership responsibilities for publications, web communications, media relations, and public information. He served as communication manager for university development in that role.

Prior to coming to Ball State in 1996, Chip served Taylor University as Vice President for University Advancement and Senior Vice President William Taylor Foundation, and Vice President for University Relations. These positions followed thirteen years of serving as Vice President for Student Development and Dean of Students, and Associate Dean of Students.

Jaggers received a Master of Arts, Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education, in 1972, and a Doctor of Education, Educational Administration/Higher Education, from Ball State University in 1985. His Bachelor of Arts in Religion was earned at Taylor University.
