Profile Mary Ann Olinger, Senior Director of Development, serves as Development Director for Teachers College, Burris Laboratory School and the Indiana Academy of Science, Mathematics and Humanities. Her regional assignment is the state of Florida.
From 1994 – 2009, she was Director of Annual Giving. In that role, she coordinated annual giving strategies, including direct mail and Phonathon; fifty year class reunion gift committees; the fundraising committee of the Parents Advisory Council; and two groups of Women in Philanthropy, Discovery and Cardinal Women’s Connection.
Before joining the Office of University Development, Mary Ann served WIPB, public television for east central Indiana, from 1979 to 1994 as Director of Public Information, Development Director and Program Manager.
Mary Ann earned a BS degree in secondary science education from Indiana University in 1967 and an MA degree from Ball State University in 1974. She was awarded certification (CFRE) by the Association of Professional Fund Raisers in 1998.
Community service includes memberships in High Street United Methodist Church, Pi Beta Phi and Psi Iota Xi.
