Renovation Update
The Fine Arts Building will begin renovation in May of 2012 to add more than 10,000 square feet of gallery space to the David Owsley Museum of Art. In preparation for this work the David Owsley Ethnographic Gallery (located on the first floor of the museum) will be closed beginning on March 26.
The museum will remain open throughout the entire renovation project. Individual galleries may close from time to time. Please consult our website for details as they progress. When complete the museum will open expanded galleries for Asian Art from China, Japan, and India. We will also open expanded galleries for art from Africa, Oceana, and Pre-Columbian South America.
