As a new exhibition, Fractured Narratives: A Strategy to Engage features contemporary art that addresses today’s global issues, including privacy, modern warfare, the environment, and freedom of expression through a selection of film, painting, photography, sound art, and sculpture by famous and emerging artists. This combination invites visitors to reflect on the ambiguities of modern, fragmented stories.
The Infinite Museum is a web
application created specifically for the David Owsley Museum of Art by Timothy Berg and his student team at the Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative
Inquiry. The Infinite Museum gives visitors to the Owsley Museum creative prompts that act as lenses to see
and engage with the art in new, innovative, and at times unusual ways. It's both playful and thought-provoking. No matter how well you know the collection at the Owsley Museum, The Infinite Museum makes
every visit fresh and newly rewarding.
