The Ball State College of Architecture and Planning Alumni Society Awards Committee annually makes recommendations to the Alumni Board for the following awards: Distinguished Alumnus Award
The nominee, who must be an alumnus of Ball State University with 15 or more years of professional experience, should hold a position of eminence with a national/international reputation. See a list of past winnersAward of Outstanding Achievement
The nominee should hold a position of distinction, and should demonstrate outstanding success in his or her field. He or she should be making outstanding contributions to their profession and to society. See a list of past winnersCharles M. Sappenfield Award of Excellence
The award is given to a faculty member based upon outstanding dedication, contribution and commitment to the education of the students of the College of Architecture and Planning. See a list of past winners
These awards will be publicized yearly in ReCap and the Ball State Alumnus. Any alumnus/alumna of CAP is eligible for award consideration and anyone may submit a nomination. For further information, contact the College of Architecture & Planning
