The NREM Alumni Society's Annual Adopt-a-River Clean-up scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. will be rescheduled due to river conditions. Check back soon for more information.

The NREM Alumni Society Awards Dinner was held at the Ball State University Alumni Center on Friday, April 4, 2014. The NREM Alumni Society proudly recognized the outstanding professional achievements and community involvement of four alumni. Juan Andres "Andy" Soria, '95, director, Berglund Center, received the Award of Achievement. IDEM's Megan (Nagle) Bolyard, '06 and the US Army Corps of Engineers' John Scheiber, '07 were recognized with the Award of Merit. The Friend of NREM Award went to Connie Tyner, '69 BS '79, in appreciation of her 40-plus years as administrative coordinator for the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management.

The 13th Annual NREM Internship & Career Fair was held at the Ball State University Alumni Center on January 30, 2014. Students from NREM and related disciplines including biology, landscape architecture, geography, geology, and more networked with representatives from 28 participating organizations in pursuit of internships, career advice, and employment opportunities. More than half of the organizations were represented by Ball State alumni. The 14th annual NREM Internship & Career Fair is scheduled for January 29, 2015. Annual NREM Adopt-A-River Clean-Up

Seven NREM alumni and friends participated in the annual NREM Adopt-A-River Clean-Up on Saturday, September 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.  Hundreds of pounds of trash and tires were removed from this adopted section of the White River.
