As Associate Provost, Marilyn Buck oversees undergraduate education, plans and implements new undergraduate programs, engages in short- and long-range planning and programming for undergraduate education, and represents Academic Affairs in university-wide undergraduate curriculum matters. Administrative responsibilities include Research and Academic Effectiveness, Center for Peace and Conflict Studies, Intensive English Institute, Office of Educational Excellence and Rinker Center for International Programs.
As Dean of University College, she has administrative responsibility for all units of the college, which include the Learning Center, Academic Advising, the University Core Curriculum, Student Athlete Support Services, Writing Proficiency and Academic Systems. She engages in short- and long-range planning for the college, and acts as the college’s fiscal agent.
