In response to the vision of the Centennial Commitment, the office of Building Better Communities has shifted many of its activities into two new organizations under the Office of Governmental Relations and Community Engagement.

The Office of Community Engagement is Ball State's front door for community partnerships within Muncie and Delaware County, including the sharing of knowledge and resources.

The Indiana Communities Institute serves as a model for university economic development engagement efforts across Indiana.  Primacy of Place plays a key role in these efforts.
