The mission of the E.B. and Bertha C. Ball Center is to provide stimulating intellectual opportunities for all persons from the university or East Central Indiana communities.  These low- and no-cost programs, classes, seminars, and workshops, presented in an informal learning environment, serve as a symbol of the university’s commitment to public service and community outreach.

Fort Wayne Regional Office
Opened in late 2013, this regional office in downtown Fort Wayne gives direct support and assistance to regional economic development programs, seeking to link university expertise and resources with high-value outreach and engagement projects.    

The Fort Wayne office houses BBC’s Director of Public Policy and Engagement to provide leadership, vision, and direction for Ball State’s efforts in public policy as they relate to economic development.

Indianapolis Center
Students, faculty, and alumni come together at the Ball State Indianapolis Center to interact, learn, and share with each other—and the community. This high-tech center in downtown Indianapolis leads the way in education, research and community outreach through a collaboration of Ball State University partnerships.  The center also houses BBC’s Director of Economic Development Policy to increase Ball State’s influence in the development and execution of state and local economic development policies.
