Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA)

First meeting of the fall 2014 semester will be held on August 26, 6:30 – 8 pm in CP 187.

Are you a health occupations student looking to get involved in an exciting organization on campus?

HOSA is a national student organization for all health occupations students focusing on health-based, hands-on volunteering activities and participating in competitive events against other HOSA chapters. HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for students who are interested in or pursuing a career in the health professions.

All Ball State students interested in a health care career--Pre-Med, Social Work, Athletic Training, Nursing, Health Science, Pre-Dental, Exercise Science, School Health, Dietetics, Psychology, Veterinary Science, Health Economics and more!--are encouraged to get involved.

Faculty or staff interested in serving as an HOSA Advisor are also encouraged to attend this inaugural meeting.

The Ball State chapter of HOSA is sponsored by the Northeast Indiana Area Health Education Center (NEI-AHEC), housed in Building Better Communities at Ball State University. In collaboration with Indiana HOSA, NEI-AHEC is working to promote career opportunities in the health care industry while helping students strengthen their leadership and citizenship abilities.
