Primacy of Place Community Awards Program

PoPCAP 2014

The Primacy of Place Community Awards Program (PoPCAP) recognizes communities who are working to enhance quality of life through innovative programs in one or more of the following areas: Arts Integration, Educational Excellence, Community Design, Community Readiness for Change, Community Wellbeing, and Municipal Governance.

The 2014 PoPCAP community finalists have been announced – learn more about their accomplishments here.  

PoPCAP finalists will be honored and winners will be revealed at a special awards ceremony luncheon on Thursday, August 7.     


We are pleased to present the 2014 Primacy of Place Community Awards Program in collaboration with the following entities: Ball State University’s Bowen Center and Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass, Association of Indiana Counties, Indiana Arts Commission, Indiana Department of Transportation, Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, and Indiana Office of Tourism Development.
