Building Better Communities offers certificate programs in a number of areas to help enhance your skills and professional credentials. Current programs include:

Emerging Media Journalism 

Ball State University offers an emerging media journalism certificate designed to help working journalists and other professionals learn to use new technologies and to deliver compelling stories across a variety of media platforms. The program can also supplement the educational experience of journalism and mass media students at other colleges and universities that do not have emerging media programs. 

The certificate courses can lead to an emerging media journalism certificate, or you can simply pick and choose the courses that best fit your needs. The asynchronous delivery ensures that you can fit the program into your schedule, since there is no specified time to meet each week.
