Important Dates for Fall 2013

August 1  Make sure you add your parents as an authorized payer through eBill, and as a proxy through Self-Service Banner
August 9 Sign up for direct deposit of refunds at www.bsu.edu/accountingoffice.
August 9 Last day students can register for fall semester and receive an eBill notification of fall semester charges.
August 14 Students and authorized payers will be notified the eBill is ready to view tuition and room and board charges.
The eBill statement is available online even if you have not opened or received the email notification.
August 16 Financial aid refunds will begin to be distributed to bank accounts via direct deposit, or by paper check to your local address.
August 19 Fall 2013 classes begin.
August 19-23    Individual Drop/Add period.
August 23 Last day to withdraw from all fall semester courses in order to receive a full refund of registration fees.  Contact the Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs at 765-285-1545 for more information.
September 1  Due date for fall 2013 balance:
A. Pay balance due in full.
B. Enroll in the Installment Payment Plan, agree to the terms and conditions, pay the $45 enrollment fee online, and make the first installment payment in full.
October 1 Second payment due in full for the Installment Payment Plan; other statement charges due in full.
November 1 Third payment due in full for the Installment Payment Plan; other statement charges due in full.
December 1 Final Installment Payment Plan payment due in full; other statement charges due in full.
December 13 Students and authorized payers will be notified the spring eBill is ready to view.
January 1 Spring balance due in full, or first payment of the Installment Payment Plan due. 


  • Check your eBill often.
  • If you make changes to your schedule, be sure you have:
    • Reviewed the university withdrawal policies.
    • Consulted with the Office of Financial Aid at 765-285-5600 to verify if a change in their schedule impacted their financial aid eligibility.
    • Discussed any schedule change with their academic advisor.
  • If you are borrowing a Stafford Loan, accept the loan by July 15, 2013, at my.bsu.edu.
  • First-time borrowers in the Stafford Loan Program must complete loan entrance counseling and a master promissory note at www.studentloans.gov.
  • Students and authorized payers should review the eBill statement frequently to stay up-to-date on bursar account activity and balances due.
  • Any new charges incurred after the financial aid refund is processed will not have been paid. They will appear on the next billing statement, and will be due in full by the first of the following month as indicated on that statement.
