Bursar and Loan Adminstration

529 Plans

Payments from 529 plans for eBill balances are accepted by paper check from parents, students, and plan administrators.  Payments must provide the student's name and Ball State ID number. Please contact your plan administrator to learn more about accessing your funds for payment of bursar charges.

Occasionally, payments from your 529 plan may not be received by the due date.  In this situation, you are responsible for knowing what payment amount your 529 plan covers.  You will need to remit the balance by the due date, or enroll in the Installment Payment Plan and remit the first installment payment by the due date.

Any resulting credit balance can be refunded.
