Biochemistry

The study of biochemistry combines the knowledge of biology and chemistry to explain life processes in terms of chemical reactions within living cells. Biochemistry majors may find work in a number of career fields including medical and health-related fields, veterinary science, engineering, agriculture, environmental science, industry, government, forensics, research, law, and education. Biochemistry majors are well prepared for advanced study in medicine and other health professions.
