Environmental Design

Environmental design graduates design environments according to what affects human behavior. These individuals are also concerned with the surrounding environment and how it is affected by human interaction. Environmental designers will design functional, safe, and economical structures that suit the needs of those who will use them. They also design residential areas and parks to ensure that they are consistent with the surrounding environment.  The following occupations represent some career opportunities available to environmental design majors.
