Family Studies

Family studies majors work with families and children in social service agencies, extension services, and careers related to early childhood care and development. The field is devoted to enhancing relationships among individuals, families, and communities. Professionals in this field are concerned with the strength and vitality of families and the development of policies that support families and communities.  The following occupations represent some career opportunities available to family studies majors.
