Hospitality and Food Management

Hospitality and food management majors are prepared to manage services and people in the food service, lodging, and tourism industry. Hospitality and food management represents a wide range of industries in such areas as hotels/motels, restaurants, retailing, conventions, transportation, travel agencies, cultural industries, tourist attractions, tour companies, and leisure sports. Hospitality and food management majors take courses in accounting, business administration, management, computer science, and public speaking to prepare for managerial positions in the hospitality industry.
