When more than 100 school corporations send representatives to our Teacher Job Fair, there's little doubt that the Ball State University education program is doing something incredible. For almost an entire century, Ball State graduates have been impacting classrooms and organizations all throughout the world, and the Teacher Job Fair is specially designed to connect job-seekers with educational professionals throughout the nation.

Four out of five organizations agreed that the Teacher Job Fair was an effective way of helping meet staffing and recruitment needs.

No pre-registration is required for students; however, when you arrive at the job fair, be sure to scan your student ID and print a name tag so you can be easily identified.

All students should come prepared to distribute resumes, network with professionals, and interview with potential employers.

Schedule

  • 8 a.m. - Candidate check-in opens at Gate 3
  • 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. - Mixer for networking with continental breakfast available
  • 9:30 – 9:45 a.m. - Mandatory candidate orientation in the arena bleachers
  • 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. - Networking and interview sign-ups around the concourse
  • 10:45 – 11 a.m. - Break and prep
  • 11 a.m. – Noon - Interviews (both pre-scheduled and those scheduled during concourse networking earlier in day)
  • Noon – 1 p.m. - Lunch break on your own
  • 1 – 4 p.m. - Interviews (both pre-scheduled and those scheduled during concourse networking earlier in day)

Navigate through the Quick Links events tab, select "Teacher Job Fair 2018," and complete the online registration.
