As a staff member, you participated in Roll Out the Red Customer Service Training. The student employee component of Roll Out the Red is just as critical to Ball State’s success in providing the best customer service possible.
All student employees and graduate assistants are expected to complete Roll Out the Red training. Your role as a supervisor will be to facilitate the online training, discuss customer service with students and to validate each student’s successful completion. The success of the program depends upon your participation and leadership!
In Roll Out the Red training, students will watch two online video modules, complete the activities, and then discuss what they’ve learned with you and other student employees or graduate assistants.
To prepare, you will want to review the video modules. Start with Roll Out the Red Customer Service Training
Module 1 followed by
Module 2. You’ll need your Ball State Outlook username and password.
Supervisor packets for each module provide the guidelines for implementing Roll Out the Red with suggested activities. Feel free to adapt ROTR materials created for the original staff training sessions. These may be found at Additional Resources on the Roll Out the Red website.
