Federal Work Study

Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a type of financial aid awarded by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at Ball State University. Students are awarded FWS based on financial need.

FWS awards are not required to work on campus. However, because of budget considerations, some campus employers hire FWS funded students to provide important functions within their departments.

More information about  FWS is available on the World Wide Web. If you have any questions about eligibility for the Federal or State Work-Study programs or about earnings limits, please contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid , Lucina Hall (LU 245) at 765-285-5600.
