Join us each week to meet and hear from fellow self-learners in the community. ALL is open to anyone who believes that learning should be a lifelong adventure! Download (pdf) or view our upcoming events to see what we're up to this semester.
Meetings: Tuesdays 3:00-4:15 PM to allow 15 minute discussions*
Location: Ball State Alumni Center unless otherwise noted
Who We Are
The Association of Lifelong Learners (ALL) is a group of retirees and community members interested in continuing to learn and engage with each other on a variety of educational topics. Our members include community members as well as Ball State retirees. We welcome members from all educational backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life.
What We Do
The Association of Lifelong Learners enthusiastically encourages the enjoyment of active learning through presentations, field trips, mini-courses, and discussion groups. We meet weekly, September through May. Speakers are chosen from the group itself, the community, and the university to cover a wide range of topics. Members who want to be more involved can join weekly discussion groups or volunteer for leadership positions.
ALL programs are informal to make sure everyone can feel comfortable participating.
Annual cost of membership is only $30 or $50 for a couple. You can sign up here or by printing out this form and mailing it to the address listed in the document. Feel free to attend a meeting or two to see what we're about before making the commitment. We'd love to see you at one of our upcoming events!
