Notetaking

For those students with disabilities for whom notetaker services are appropriate, the DSD office can assist in the recruitment and/or referral of notetakers. Notetakers are hired from within the class to take lecture notes and share them in an accessible format. Requests for notetaker services may be made to DSD staff. Ample lead time is necessary.

Notetakers for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) clients are paid for by VR; for others, by Ball State. Supervision of notetakers is the primary responsibility of the student. Please notify the DSD office if you are experiencing problems with your notetakers and we can assist you.
