Recording Lectures

Students with disabilities who are unable to take or read notes have the right to record class lectures for their personal study only. Lectures taped for this purpose may not be shared with other people without the consent of the lecturer. DSD recommends the use of a Livescribe Smartpen for notetaking and lecture recording. Ask to see a demonstration of this technology in the DSD office. Should questions arise concerning the use of a recorder in the classroom please contact DSD for a copy of the Tape Recorded Lecture Policy Agreement.
