For Prospective Students

The high school to college transition is an exciting and challenging time for all students, but it can be especially challenging for students with disabilities. At Ball State, we provide a supportive environment. In addition to accommodating students with disabilities, we are involved with a Faculty Mentorship Program for new students. There are several important differences between high school disability services and college disability services.

In addition to the resources available on this Web site, consider reviewing this guide for college-bound people with disabilities. Also, check out the Transition2College website. They are an educational consulting firm specializing in assisting high school students with disabilities prepare for a successful transition to college.
