Career Center Workshop: Interviews
March 12, 5pm, SC Pineshelf Room
Learn the fundamental tools to prepare for any interview, including guidelines for professional dress and preparing responses for traditional or behavioral-based interview questions for disabled students.
Community Connections: Awareness Tables
March 13 & 14, 11am-2pm, SC Tally
Join Disabled Students in Action (DSIA) in celebrating Disability Awareness Month. They will have a table set up in the Student Center Tally. Brochures, stickers, pins, and much more will be available to learn about all different kinds of disabilities.
Adaptive Recreation Nights
March 14 & 21, 7pm, Student Wellness & Recreation Center
Learn about and then play wheelchair basketball and other adaptive recreation at SWRC. Sport wheelchairs will be available for use.
Wheelchair Ballroom Dancing with Frank Epperson
*cosponsored by the Ballroom Dance League
March 18, 8pm, Student Center Ballroom
Come learn to ballroom dance! Frank Epperson, a Hoosier wheelchair ballroom dancer, will be demonstrating several dance techniques and teaching participants some basic moves. Members of the Ballroom Dance League will also be on hand to dance and assist.

Join DSIA for popcorn & a disability-related movie.
Career Center Workshop: Résumés
March 21, 1pm, Student Center Room 310
This résumé workshop provides detailed explanations, as well as step-by-step processes, for creating an effective resume for disabled students.
Women with Disabilities (panel)
March 25, 2pm, Student Center Room 301
Join us as we celebrate Women's Week on campus. Several female students with disabilities with share their life and school experiences with the audience. This panel will be moderated by Dr. Courtney Jarrett, Associate Director of DSD.
Wheelchair Tennis
March 28, 8pm, Field Sports Building
Join Emmy Kaiser, Ball State graduate student and Paralympian, for a wheelchair tennis workshop. Tennis chairs will be available for use during the presentation.
