Just as Ball State University provides special programs to incoming freshmen, OEE recognizes the need for special resources and programs tailored to the unique needs of new faculty members (“Alphas”).
Alpha Orientation is a 1 1/2 day program for new faculty members at Ball State. This event will provide you with important information about resources and programs that will support your work at the university. In addition, you will learn about the various employee benefits and will complete forms for insurance, retirement benefits, taxes, etc. Alpha Orientation 2015 begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17th (registration begins at 7:15 a. am.) and runs through noon on Tuesday, August 18th in Cardinal Hall in the Student Center.
New Faculty Workshops
