New Faculty Programs

Just as Ball State University provides special programs to incoming freshmen, OEE recognizes the need for special resources and programs tailored to the unique needs of new faculty members (“Alphas”).

Alpha Orientation is a two day program for new faculty members at Ball State. This event will provide you with important information about resources and programs that will support your work at the university. In addition, you will learn about various employee benefits and will fill out forms for insurance, retirement benefits, taxes, etc. Alpha Orientation 2012 begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13th and runs through Tuesday, August 14th in the Alumni Center.

New Faculty Workshops
We will offer various workshops prior to the start of classes for those faculty interested in learning more about preparing to teach at Ball State. No formal reservations are required but we ask that you RSVP by calling 765-285-1763 or email.
