Many of the cutting-edge projects developed by the Emerging Technologies staff and the students of the Digital Corps originate from within our office. A single small idea can often transform into a game-changing new approach to technology.
Often times, we apply our process to help others solve their problems with technology. Through active engagement in the University community we’ve helped countless professors, departments, administrators and students bring their big ideas to life. And, through our active outreach efforts, we’ve worked with partners around the state of Indiana, around the country and around the world.
Most partners visit the Emerging Technologies office and walk away with a great solution to their digital dilemma. Occasionally we secure partnerships that are ongoing. These are partnerships where client needs are constantly changing, or we recognize that technology solutions are changing rapidly and we'll need to continually refine our approach.
Ball State University Project Support
The projects that arrive at Emerging Technologies from around campus are as diverse as the campus population - from geology and gender studies to the human performance lab and film studies. We’re fortunate to work with such a diverse campus that always provides interesting topics and projects for exploration.
External Client Support
Sometimes word leaks out from campus that Emerging Technologies is trying something new, or that our staff and students are an excellent resource to solve problems using technology. Having the chance to work with partners outside of Ball State is an exciting, educational and welcome undertaking.
