Jonathan Blake Huer
Director of Emerging Technologies and Media Development
Jonathan Huer enjoys walking the fine line between respect for traditional craft and pushing the evolution of the human experience. He wants to ensure that users aren’t left behind as the wave of technological innovation moves everything forward. For example, his multi-award winning traditional 35mm short film, Looking for My Brother for the big screen was followed by his award winning interactive story, Alternate Endings for the iPhone. Regardless of the project, Jonathan focuses on the impact on users. This takes on even more importance as digital devices become increasingly prevalent in our everyday lives. He is passionate about the success of Digital Corps students. His goal is to teach them to become thinkers and innovators who live by guiding maxims, not rigid rules.
Jonathan has his bachelor's degree in design|media arts from UCLA and his MFA from the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC. His Spanish feature film Vale Todo was recently named one of the top 30 Latin films on Hulu.
