Training is available for Ball State University faculty, staff and graduate assistants. Register for these courses directly from our biweekly e-mail that advertises upcoming workshops or go to the technology training workshop calendar and register from the list of courses.
Emerging Technology Training provides a rich menu of opportunities. These classes range from beginner to advanced and are provided in a wide range of settings for faculty, staff, and graduate students. Courses may include: Microsoft applications, Sitecore and Vignette content management applications, and Web 2.0 workshops. Department workshops by request are customized to meet the department initiatives for using technology to make communication more seamless.
Learning Technology workshops are designed to assist faculty with course management tools and introduction to new methods for integrating technology into courses. Courses include: Blackboard, inQsit, Web Gradebook and rGrade. For information regarding these workshops, please contact Yasemin Tunc.
Self paced eLearning with Lynda.com is available at no cost for the entire Ball State community. You must go to the Ball State (bsu.edu/lynda) web site to log in for free access to the Lynda learning library.
