After the Party

*Have a plan to get your intoxicated guests home safely - This may mean calling a cab for someone. It may also mean that you are going to offer people rides home in your vehicle. You may just end up having an impromptu sleepover at your place. Most importantly, don't be afraid to take keys from someone you know has been drinking.

*Clean up after your party - This means inside and outside. The sooner you pick up your trash, the less work you'll have to put into it later. The morning after your party is a perfect time to clean. If your neighbors are awake, it will show them how responsible you are and keep you in their good graces.

*Follow up with your neighbors - Get their opinion on what worked well and what didn't from their standpoint. Take their feedback seriously and apply it when throwing your next party. It will keep them from calling the police the next time you party.
