Internships

Health Education offers Ball State University graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to be involved in health promotion through unpaid internship programming. Practicum hours can also be obtained through our office. We accept students from all areas of study into the program. Majors that have completed internship and/or practicum hours through our office have included dietetics, health science, psychology, wellness management, and student affairs administration in higher education.

Students can tailor-make their internship/practicum experience to meet their personal and academic requirements. Interns can expect to be involved in campus-wide program planning, presentations, run groups such as smoking cessation and weight loss, and to work with Peer Health Educators.

Please check with your internship advisor regarding this opportunity. If interested, call 765-285-3775 for more information.
