Ball State University students can visit Room 206 in Health Education and have the opportunity to use the latest technology in computers to locate specific health information. The Resource Room is not a student computer lab; it is only to be used for accessing health information. A printer is available for student use and the copies are free.
We also have a large library of brochures that can be picked up for free. Brochures can be used for research for a class project and are also a useful way for Resident Advisors to share health information with their residents. Topics include skin health, heart health, nutrition, body image, sleep, drugs, alcohol, partying smart, men’s and women’s health, HIV, STIs, sexual health and responsibility, and abstinence.
The Resource Room is available during our regular office hours of 8 a.m. to 5p.m. Monday-Friday. Please make sure to check out any brochures taken with our department secretary so that proper inventory can be kept.
