Tenure-track faculty position available August 15, 2014.
Responsibilities: teach undergraduate and graduate interior design lecture and studio courses; participate in research and/or creative activities; advise students; assist in obtaining and/or maintaining the Council for Interior Design Accreditation; participate in department, college, and university activities. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to direct the interior design program.
Minimum qualifications: all requirements for a doctorate in interior design, architecture, environmental design, human behavior, or equivalent curriculum completed by date of appointment; at least one degree must be in interior design.
Preferred qualifications: teaching or professional experience in interior design; NCIDQ certification; evidence of scholarly productivity through writing and/or creative projects, presentations, and successful grant proposals; evidence of involvement in professional organizations in the discipline.
