Full time tenure-track position in interior design program available August 17, 2014.
Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate interior design lecture and studio courses; participate in research and/or creative activities; advise students; assist in obtaining and/ or maintaining the Council for Interior Design Accreditation; participate in department, college, and university activities. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to direct the interior design program.
Minimum qualifications: Doctorate in interior design, architecture, environmental design, human behavior, or equivalent curriculum completed by date of appointment.
Preferred qualifications: Teaching or professional experience in interior design with at least one degree in Interior Design; NCIDQ certification; evidence of scholarly productivity through writing and/or creative projects, presentations, and successful grant proposals; evidence of involvement in professional organizations in the discipline.
