Contract Faculty Position, Department of Technology

Contract faculty position available August 16, 2013.

Major responsibility: teaching 12 semester hours or equivalent per academic semester in computer assembly and troubleshooting, network design and administration, server administration, and alternative OS management.

Minimum qualifications: master’s degree in computer technology or related field; three years or more of computer technology professional experiences; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work cooperatively and interact effectively with faculty and staff to contribute to the strategic plan for the department, college, and university.

Preferred qualifications: at least one of the following IT certifications—CCNA, A+, or MCP; record of successful teaching in higher education.

Candidates for contract faculty searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
