Assistant Professor/Sport Administration, School of Physical Education, Sport, and Exercise Science

Tenure-track position available August 16, 2013, with possibility of summer employment.

Responsibilities: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in sport law, sport management, and human resources management; advising graduate student research projects; coordinating student internship experiences in cooperation with agencies, business, and professionals sport organizations.

Minimum qualification: earned doctorate degree in sport administration or closely related field on or before August 5, 2013.

Preferred qualifications: earned doctorate in sport administration/management and/or related area; evidence of successful teaching in sport administration in higher education; evidence of scholarly productivity through writing, presentations, research activity, including grant funding from external sources; work experience in the sport industry.
