Tenure-track faculty position available August 15, 2014, with specialization in the fields of state and local government and public administration.
Responsibilities: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in American state and local government, policy analysis, and public administration.
Three hours of assigned time is available for active researchers.
Minimum qualification: doctorate in political science or public administration with a concentration in policy analysis and state and local government administration completed no later than June 30, 2014.
Preferred qualifications: record of scholarly activity; teaching at the college level; interest in working with local government officials; willingness to travel around the state to meet with government agencies in conjunction with activities of the department’s Bowen Center for Public Affairs; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license as well as be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.
