Tenure-track faculty position available August 15, 2014.
Responsibilities: teach undergraduate social work courses across the curriculum; conduct research; provide academic and professional advising services to students; be an active member of the academic and professional community.
Minimum qualifications: master’s of social work degree from a Council on Social Work Education accredited program; two years of post MSW full-time social work practice experience; earned doctorate in social work or related discipline by time of appointment; teaching experience in undergraduate or graduate social work education; demonstrated use of information technology in social work education; record of scholarship and/or grant development; record of scholarship, including evidence of a research agenda; history of community or professional service.
Preferred qualifications: two or more years of teaching experience in undergraduate or graduate social work education; more than two years of professional social work practice experience; grantsmanship with evidence of funded proposals.
