Contract Faculty Position/Online Courses, Department of Physiology and Health Science

Contract faculty position available August 16, 2013.  

Major responsibility: teach undergraduate health content courses online.  

Minimum qualifications:   master’s degree or higher in health education/promotion or closely related field by August 16, 2013; one year of successful university teaching experience or one year of work experience in a health educator’s role; experience with online, hybrid, or emerging media materials and teaching strategies.  

Preferred qualifications:  additional years of successful college or university teaching experience and/or work experience in a health educator’s role; experience teaching one or more of the following content courses—personal health, community health, human sexuality, or death and dying; CHES or CHES eligible; willingness to commit to engagement in departmental activities. 

Candidates for contract faculty searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
