Multiple-year contract faculty position available August 15, 2014.
Responsibilities: help establish Ball State’s national leadership in the area of social media (in a business context) and marketing analytics, including developing social media and marketing analytics coursework and teaching related undergraduate and/or graduate sales and marketing courses (on campus, online, and hybrid); engage in service to the university and the profession in the areas of social media and marketing analytics.
Minimum qualifications: master’s degree in related area; at least five years of industry experience in social media and marketing analytics; an established record of success in integrating social media and marketing analytics into marketing strategy; good presentation skills.
Preferred qualifications: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Ph.D. in sales and/or marketing or related field; established record of published research and scholarship in social media and marketing analytics studies; record of obtaining external grants; experience with curriculum development and online teaching.
