Assistant/Associate Professor-Educational Technology, Department of Educational Studies

Tenure-track faculty position available August 16, 2013. 

Responsibilities:  teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in educational technology, including online pedagogy, simulation, virtual environments, and learning systems and assessment; research and scholarly productivity in educational technology; service involvement in and contributions to academic or professional organizations and societies that represent educational technology as well as service to the department, college, and university; coordinate the activities of the Educational Technology program, including advising, class scheduling, curriculum development, supervision of adjuncts, etc.).

Minimum qualifications:  complete all requirements for a doctoral degree in educational technology, instructional systems, or related field by date of appointment; demonstrate strong potential for a well-articulated research agenda; commitment to issues of diversity in educational policy and practice; experience teaching and developing distance education courses.

Preferred qualifications:  evidence of an established record of scholarship; potential to direct research of graduate students; post-secondary teaching experience; teaching license or P-12 school experience.
