Responsibilities: coordinate the movement, manipulation, integration, quality and availability of data throughout the enterprise; provide Extract, Transform and Load (ETL), data integration expertise and support for the university’s data warehouses, business intelligence, data analytics and reporting initiatives; implement data management solutions within a variety of systems/applications; manage the design and development of extraction and transformation mappings from source systems.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or other closely related IT field; three years of programming in information systems with demonstrated knowledge and experience in database design, management and support, and/or relational database administration skills; database administration experience for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or DB2; experience in managing multiple and complex data structures; proven analytical skills to acquire an understanding of business process workflow; strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred qualification: experience with data warehouse concepts and methodologies in the Oracle DBMS environment.
