Director of Content and Collaboration, Information Technology

Professional position available immediately.  

Responsibilities:  provide leadership and direction to the Academic Project Support Office, which will collaborate with university-wide academic project stakeholders as well as other university personnel to develop instructional learning materials, develop timelines for review and approval of the academic liaisons and perform advisory function, including project evaluation and prioritization, initial identification and project request analysis, tracking implementation, resource timelines, dates for critical milestones and deliverables; work as the liaison with University Teleplex, Emerging Technology, and other content developing units within Information Technology.  

Minimum qualifications:  master’s degree in communications or media development; at least five years of project management experience with large multi-faceted projects or at least five years of video production or production management in a higher education environment or digital asset production facility; demonstrated experience solving complex production process issues and problems; very highly developed communication and presentation skills; ability to quickly adapt and become familiar with university processes and procedures and quickly establish a rapport and confidence among multiple university units and levels of the organization. 

Preferred qualifications:  additional years of experience working in at least one function environment at a higher educational institution; demonstrated ability to coordinate systems design, implementation and operation from a remote location using a team-oriented approach.
