Professional position available May 1, 2014.
Responsibilities: coordinate and maintain responsibility for the development and implementation of university-wide programs and standards in the areas of property, casualty and other (including student health) insurance programs, environmental health and safety, and the institutional risk management program.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree or higher in a business or insurance field; five years of experience in risk management and at least two years of administrative experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent computer skills.
Preferred qualifications: advanced degree in law (JD) or business (MBA); continuing education coursework in finance, insurance, and/or safety management; additional years of related experience; Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
