Responsibilities: provide specialized purchasing advice, coordination, direction, and service to university departments that are involved in the planning, construction, and maintenance of facilities; insure that all procurement activities comply with current regulatory material and are performed in the most favorable, economic, and ethical conditions possible.
Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree; at least four years of experience in procurement or related field; excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent personal computer skills.
Preferred qualifications: bachelor’s degree in business or construction-related field or master’s degree; public works experience; additional years of related experience.
