International Student Advisor, Rinker Center for International Programs

Professional contract position available May 6, 2013.  

Responsibilities: advise international students, visiting scholars, faculty, staff, and their dependents on immigration rules and regulations; maintain relevant immigrant data on current faculty and staff; develop, plan and implement activities that promote internationalization on campus and in the community.  

Minimum qualifications: master’s degree; at least one year of experience in higher education; must meet federal eligibility requirements for Alternate Responsible Officer and Designated School Official; excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent personal computer skills. 

Preferred qualifications:  knowledge of F and J visa immigration regulations; work experience in a large public university; knowledge of SEVIS Batch Processing Software (FSAAtlas).
