Responsibilities: manage museum staff and budget; develop collections, manage inventory and appraisals; oversee donor cultivation, fundraising, public relations, cooperation with support organizations, and development of new exhibitions; provide grantsmanship activity to continue the growth and development of the museum; actively contribute to the intellectual and professional life of the university, including teaching one course per year.
Minimum qualifications: master’s degree; at least three years of gallery or museum experience.
Preferred qualification: proven track record in successful fundraising/donor cultivation; background in art history; familiarity with technology utilized in museums.
